Nosis Ltd has been established in 1996 by experienced managers from the Business Administration and Information Technology field. Nosis is a consulting company which specializes in Business Planning, Viability and Feasibility Studies, in every economic or industrial sector, both in Greece and in the European Union. Nosis has developed impressively through the years and has become now an evaluator of Feasibility Studies for the Ministry of Development and also a member of the British Council. Apart from the above, Nosis provides services also in the field of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EMAS , HACCP etc), reengineering projects and Coorporate Strategic Studies. Furthermore, through the Dynargie (www.dynargie.com) exclusive representation in Greece, Nosis, has managed to conduct challenging and company-wide Educational Programs in order to help local and international subsidiaries to develop their human side. Founded in 1985, Omega Technology is an experienced and well known company in IT services in Greece. The Company serves Greek public bodies, enterprises and other organizations with technology and services made possible by the 25 years of experience. Solutions provided include 3D applications, e-commerce applications, e-learning platforms, document and knowledge management systems, tailor made applications for people with disabilities. The company also offers and a broad range of management and services including consulting, research and development, digitization, annotation and preservation of content, hardware supply and installation and technical support.

The company is in close cooperation with the Academic society, running several R&D projects. The company is also active in the field of employability and enterpreneurship running R&D projects with the Hellenic Organization of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and Handicraft (EOMMEX) S.A, Institutes, Prefectures, Municipalities, Chambers, Local authorities and departmental organizations. Omega Technology is also conducting research and market validation projects in cooperation with several other RTD performers and market oriented organizations in European Level. In Greece, the company has over 500 active clients running its Products (CRM, Document Management, e-shops, etc). In the Ceramic sector the company is being involved from 1995 in cooperation with the Greek Pottery Center, having implemented several projects for the ceramic industry. Omega Technology was coordinator in the e-ceramics.biz Ten-Telecom project where a marketplace for ceramic SMEs was implemented as an one stop shop for Ceramic products. In 2004 participated as the main technological provider to the Leonardo project CER@MIC (EL/2004/B/F/PP-148270), where an Application applying the SEGER formula for making ceramic glaze recipes was developed. This application that was published in international conferences is a useful tool for many ceramists today and it is currently extended to an online tool in the framework of a 2010 Leonardo TOI project CGR (2010-1-GR1-LEO 05-03932).

KI Keramik-Institut GmbH (DE)
The KI Keramik-Institut GmbH is a service provider for companies who produce ceramics of all kind. Among these services further education for ceramic professionals is offered. Every year 100 to 150 ceramic professionals get in-house lessons about all steps and problems of ceramic production. Beside that 3-10 on site education events were executed by the Keramik-Institut all over the world.

Beside the education activities testing and pilot plant services are offered.

KI KERAMIK was partner in the project e-ceramics.biz (Ten-Telecom), a project where a marketplace for ceramic SMEs was implemented as an one stop shop for Ceramic products, in the Leonardo project CER@MIC(EL/2004/B/F/PP-148270), where an application applying the SEGER formula for making ceramic glaze recipes was developed and partner in a 2010 Leonardo TOI project CGR(2010-1-GR1-LEO 05-03932) that aims to upgrade the Seger tool to an online application for the collaboration of ceramists.



SOCIETE FRANCAISE DE CERAMIQUE (FR)
Backed by years of experience in all sectors of the ceramics industries, SFC pools the know-how of experts and places it at the disposal of the trades. SFC, an applied research organization, is the Industrial Technical Centre of ceramics and a Technological Resources Centre. SFC carries out applied research on ceramics technologies and products applications. This confidential research is adapted to suit each company's specific needs. They cover all ceramic materials : floor and wall tiles, technical ceramics, Mineral raw materials, tableware and cooking utensils, dense or insulating refractories and sanitaryware.
SFC performs personalized services such as testing and analysis of products and materials, standards compliance controls, consultation, trainings, diagnostics, expert assistance. It offers investigation facilities suited to various types of characterizations : chemical and microstructural analysis, physical and mechanical testing, thermal and thermomechanical testing, behaviour modelling and testing. SFC also participates in research programs supported by the European Community in cooperation with industrials.

SFC represents companies in the french ceramic profession in three capabilities :
- Standardization (AFNOR, CEN and ISO)
- Certification (products compliance controls, participation on specific NF mark committees)
- Health & Safety and Environment

The activities of the SFC’s staff involved are based on ceramic technology, characterization capabilities and support for the ceramic companies : helping manufacturers for formulation and optimization of compositions, optimisation of process, wastes recycling solutions, elaboration and amelioration of test methods, Quality optimization, Raw materials and compositions specific tests, transfer and dissemination of innovations, and training.

As a reference for the french ceramic industry, SFC has the official national agreement from the french Ministry of Work and has a reference number as an official sectorial training organism. The Training activities proposed by SFC consist in :
- Hosting of trainees: receiving ceramic school students (technicians, engineers), SFC take part in the training, giving practical complements about tests and analysis methods, and research subjects.
- Training seminars and courses : SFC conducts training seminars for ceramic industry employees, about ceramic laboratory techniques, processes and methods, Best available techniques, Environment and sustainable growth.
- SFC organizes also training seminars for others trades around ceramic producers (ceramic users and import/export traders)

Instytut Ceramiki i Materialow Budowlanych (PL)
The research and development Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials has almost 60 years of tradition. The staff consists of 509 employees including nine professors and forty two doctors. Institute fulfils the following key activities:

• Research in the field of:
  - glass, ceramic, bioceramic, refractory and construction materials
  - mineral resources,
  - environmental protection and energy saving production technology
  - development of new technologies for ceramic industry

• Production of:
  - technical ceramics, bioceramics, refractory materials,
  - frits, angobes and glazes, ceramic pigments and paints,
  - special cements, dry mixtures and cement composites,
  - control and measuring apparatus

• Services:
  - expert’s opinions and technical advices,
  - scientific and technical information,
  - specialist trainings,
  - power engineering and production engineering audits,
  - developing training materials on technology for ceramic materials producers
  - cooperation in implementation of new technologies into production

The Institute organizes technological courses of instruction for ceramists as well as conferences, scientific seminars and training meetings. Institute cooperates with many ceramic enterprises (among others SMEs) in the field of testing ceramic products, technical advising and practical applications of new technologies and ceramic products. Is partner in the Leonardo TOI project Ceramic Glaze Recipes (CGR)-(2010-1-GR1-LEO 05-03932) that aims to develop an online application for the collaboration of ceramists.



CYPRUS POTTERY AND CERAMIC ASSOSIATION (CY)
The Cyprus Ceramists - Potters Association was founded in 1983 by refugee potters, coming mainly from Kyrenia and Famagusta. The main buyers of ceramic products are foreign tourists who visit Cyprus. The most of the ceramic workshops in Cyprus are family run and very few, employ foreigners. Most of them employ no more than 5 people.

The Association have 35 members, of which 50% are traditional and 50% art workshops with limited production of ceramics. For some years the Association was inactive. The new Board of Directors took command of the association in early April 2003. The Board members, are potters, members of the association who offer their services for free. Income of the Association is membership fees. Objectives of the new Board is mainly to promote and display of ceramic art, the training of the Association’s members through various workshops and seminars.

There is also collaboration with the Turkish Cypriot colleagues and the first activity organized jointly on ceramic art at 21/11/2003. With the accession of Cyprus to the EU, that created new conditions both in marketing and promoting the art of pottery, the Cypriot potters should be trained to be ready to face increased competition. The association has participated to the CER@MIC(EL/2004/B/F/PP-148270) project that was the first ever participation in any Community program.



Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (TR)
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (COMU) was founded in 1992. The university has over 22,000 students participating in a wide variety of programmes taught by close to a thousand academic staff in 2 graduate schools, 9 faculties, 2 polytechnic colleges (four year programmes) and 11 vocational colleges (two-year programmes). There are several campuses in Çanakkale itself and some of the academic units are located in other towns of the province.

COMU aims to be a modern university carrying out scholarly research and providing regional, national and international dimensions to training in all its educational programmes, while taking into account the resources of the area in which it is situated. In order to attain its goals, the university follows a path of democracy and secularism, with a belief in the authority of the law and the positive scientific principles. The university responsibility is sensitive to domestic and global concerns, to work for peace, to be creative and productive, and to participate in society at all levels. In order to attain the university's educational, scientific, cultural, and social goals, the university is making speedy progress towards becoming. Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (COMU) was partner in the Leonardo project CER@MIC(EL/2004/B/F/PP-148270) in cooperation With Greek pottery Center, KI KERAMIK INSTITUTE and Cyprus Pottery-Ceramic Association.



Egypt National Cleaner Production Centre (ENCPC) (EG) 
The Egypt National Cleaner Production Centre (ENCPC) which was established a service provider for the Egyptian industry by the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) in close cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in 2004. 

The ENCPC is part of UNIDO/UNEP global network of Cleaner Production Centers (47 centers) and at the same time, is a part of Egyptian Innovation and Technology Council (ITC) which affiliated to the MTI and includes more than 13 technology and innovation centers. The ENCPC is covering the following main topics of activities: 

1. Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (Chemicals, Water, Raw Material, Energy) 
2. Industrial Waste Management and Waste Recycling 
3. Energy Efficiency and Industrial Application of Renewable Energy 
4. Innovation and Technology Transfer Projects
